Taking place at our Waterloo premises on Sunday, 21st March, over 250 works will be offered with highlights including works by Arthur Boyd, Max Dupain, James Gleeson, Pro Hart, Patrick Hockey, Kitty Kantilla, Otto Pareroultja, William Robinson and Garry Shead. The sale also includes striking paintings by Brett Whiteley, Sali Herman and David Bromley, the proceeds of which will contribute to Maitland Regional Art Gallery's new building works.

Catalogue Now Online for John Gould, 'The Birdman', Collection

Bay East Auctions is excited to offer John Gould's ‘Birds of Australia', the great definitive work of Australian bird illustration. The seven volumes and supplement published between 1840 and 1869, illustrated every Australian species then known to science. In total there are 681 magnificent hand-coloured lithographs which will be auctioned over the weekend of the 27th and 28th March at our Waterloo premises. All of the lithographs are in good condition and will be offered with the descriptive text and without reserve.
